Directions to Newbury Racecourse

By road

From M4 – Junction 13
Exit the M4 at Junction 13 and join the A34 for Newbury. Follow the signs for Newbury, joining the A339 and follow into Newbury to a set of traffic lights (keep in one of the two lanes on the right hand side). Continue straight over the two sets of traffic lights on the large roundabout (Robin Hood roundabout). At the next roundabout (Sainsbury’s on left), take the first exit left into Queens Road. At the mini roundabout, fork right into Greenharn Road and take the first left in to Racecourse Road leading to the main racecourse entrance.

From M3 – Junction 9
Exit the M3 at Junction 9 (signed to the Midlands, Newbury and A34). Join the A34 and south of Newbury, leave the A34 at the exit sign posted Newbury B4640. Follow the B4640 towards Newbury and go through Newtown, to the roundabout with the A339 Basingstoke Road by the Swan Inn. Travel Straight over on the dual carriageway (Passing St Gabriel’s School on the right). At the large roundabout take the third exit off into queens Road. At the mini roundabout, fork right into Greenharn Road and take the first left into Racecourse Road leading to the main racecourse entrance.

Railway
Newbury Racecourse has its own station, one stop from New Station, with direct connection to London Paddington and the West. For the latest up to date train times please visit www.thetrainline.co.uk

Air
The racecourse is within an hour of Heathrow and Southampton airports.  Newbury Racecourse also has an airstrip and helicopter landing area however use of this is strictly by prior arrangement only with the Clerk of the Course.  Please call the racecourse for details on 01635 40015
